Hungary - Student Mobility- 5th April 2019

Today, our students worked on the topic of 'Society in Hungary'. They went to Eger and they visited the Castle and casemates, the centre and the Basilica to make interviews and to be informed about its history and culture.

Then they did some shopping today as well, in Maklár, in the famous Stühmer Candy Shop.

"We can surely say that today we had a wonderful Friday. This morning, instead of visiting Budapest, we went on the opposite direction with Eger as our destiny. It is a village found in the mountains on the north of Hungary. We learnt lots of interesting things related with Eger's history thanks to some activities prepared by the Hungarian students. At first, we enjoyed a guided tour through the castle of Eger and its history, all of this before an incredible walk around its underground tunnels. Then we had some free time to eat, buy and relax, so when we went to the Basilica we had plenty of energy to enjoy it as much as possible. After leaving Eger, we made a little stop on our way home to see an incredible sweet and chocolate store.

I'm sure everyone enjoyed that and bought things for their families, fiends... And surely for themselves too!"
