The start of everything

In the second semester of the 2016/2017 school year the Berze Nagy János Secondary Grammar School created a proposal writer work team with the leading of Ombódiné Madai Judit. The group of workers sent an Erasmus+ application with the name of Nations’ Puzzle on 29 March 2017. After the rating of the maverick experts, the advisory board of Tempus Foundation announced us to be the winners. Within the framework of the outstanding rated project, the Berze Nagy János Secondary Grammar School will work with the teachers and students of the IES Sierra de Guaderrama from Madrid, Spain and the Istituto di Istruzione Superiore ”Basile-D’Aleo” from Monreale, Sicily for 28 months.

The project management set up right after the positive judgment of the Nations’ Puzzle project. The members are: project coordinator- Nagy Noémi, the members of the project management- Bárdos Éva, Katona Fatime, dr. Ludányi Lajos, Nagy Tímea and dr. Suskóné Urbanovics Cecília. The preparations of the project and the recruitment of the students started.

The basic question of the project is what the world would be like without and what it will be like with us in the future. The Strategic Partnership with the above-mentioned schools has been established to shoot an international digital film having 3-4-minute episodes, called Puzzle films that present our past and current activities focusing on science, art and society. Furthermore, it models an international start-up, which can give a glimpse into our future.

Students are going to make some digital worksheets and games to the Puzzle films to help and boost the process of building these materials into the procedure of learning and teaching at school.
