On Tuesday, when we got up, the weather was a bit rainy and foggy, but we were happy and excited because we knew that we were going to a university in Madrid. During the trip, we were talking a lot and listening to some music.
The university was a huge, modern building with full of nice and interesting pictures. We had to create two groups, one of them consisted of 12 Hungarians and 12 Spanish students, and the other group was made of 12 Italians and 12 Spanish students.
The first team went to the a laboratory to do some experiments, the other one had to interview students and teachers in connection with the main topics of our Puzzle films, namely society, art and science.
We could watch the steps of the first experiment on a sheet of paper and the teacher were helping us, too.
We had to examine a rat’s brain through a microscope. The second one was about keeping a chicken’s heart beating. While we were doing the experiments, the other team was conducting some interviews with teachers and students of the school. After that, we switched activities. In the end, we gathered in front of the university and we went back to school.
We enjoyed these activities a lot because we had never seen such interesting experiments, and making the interviews was also very entertaining. The Spanish students suggested that everybody should visit a nearby city where we could do shopping and walk around. So later that afternoon, we went there by bus.
Then we met each other in the shopping centre, so we could go shopping together. Finally, everybody got tired and hungry, so we decided to have dinner in a McDonalds.
To sum up, this day was both interesting and entartaining, so we enjoyed it a lot.
