Spain - Mobility Program - Saturday

On Saturday morning, we left school at 9: 00 a.m. First, we visited the royal palace, where we learned several interesting pieces of information about the it.

After that, we went to the bus again and we headed to Segovia's downtown, The Roman Aqueduct. The aqueduct was built by the Romans around 1st century AD and its purpose was to bring water from the mountains to the town. Now it belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After we did a short walk in the city, we got a little free time to explore Segovia's Ancient buildings and we also had an eating-out.

The Alcazar

It is more than 1000 years old, the former house of Spain’s kings. If you are in Segovia, you should visit it. It is said to be the inspiration for Disney’s logo Castle. It is well-preserved and there is an amazig view of the city from the top.

In the evening, we went to have dinner ,which was our last time together. On Sunday morning, we only had a short farewell and went fast to the airport of Madrid. Our plane took-off at 11:30.
Overall, we can say it was our one of the best weeks in our life. We could gain invaluable experiences and unforgettable moments.
