Our plane landed on the 18th of November at 18:45 and our beloved Spanish coordinator was waiting for us at the airport of Madrid. After, we went to the school building to meet our old-new friends. Later, when we got our “home”, we got to know our new family and relaxed a lot because we knew we would have a really tiring but entertaining week.
The 19th of November was our second day in Spain and we arrived at the Spanish school at 8:30. Some of us were brought by car, some walked while others took the school bus. We spent most of the morning at the school library, where at first we were given a short opening ceremony.
Then we were given a short summary on the following week. Next, we had a sort coffee break at the school canteen trying local pastries and sweets.
Then, we were shown the Italian, Hungarian and Spanish films related to art and society. We also had the chance to play a little game related to the Spanish film with the app Kahoot. We had a short tour around the school, then we formed ten groups each having at least one student from one nation to work on interview questions in connection with the forthcoming Puzzle films.
We had a traditional Spanish dinner at the school. It was tapas. After, we had free time for the rest of the day. All in all, it was a wonderful day and an amazing beginning of a long and hectic week.
