The 16th April was our second day in Sicily. Our trip started at 8am from San Cipirello. We travelled to Monreale by coach, where we met our Spanish mates and their hosts. Then we visited the University of Palermo together, where a director of a local company gave us a presentation about the basics of setting up a start-up company. After the lecture, we had the opportunity to see some threading tools for working metal, wood, plastic and so on. After that, we walked to the solar field of the University of Palermo, where the technical manager of Consorzio Arca demonstrated us the solar technology, which is able to provide electricity, heat and cooling for multiple uses. Later, we travelled back to school located in Monreale, where we watched the movies of the three nations together. We had special lunch at 14:00 o’clock, they served us typical Sicilian food. After having lunch, we started working in groups of six members. (2 Hungarian, 2 Italian, 2 Spanish students) Our task was to create questions about the given topics.
We reached the end of our daily journey here. In conclusion it was an eventful and edifying day for everyone.
