Unforgettable mobility in Sicily - Friday

On Friday, we started our trip at 8 o’clock. We visited the archaeological area of Monte Iato with both Italian and Spanish students. It is an ancient town of the interior of Sicily, in the northwest part of the island, not far from Palermo, in the modern commune of San Giuseppe Jato, whose name reflects the ancient town. We had the possibility to climb up the top of the hill and look the ancient ruins. It was tiring but worthy, because our tour guide told us a lot of interesting stories and information. After the trip, we went to a nearby museum, the Case ’D Alia Museum. We had to visit it in a hurry, as we didn't have enough time to go around and look the exhibition. It is an archaeological museum with lots of special ancient monuments.

Later, we went back to the school in Monreale where we had the long-awaited lunch. It was worth waiting, because the lunch was both delicious and special like lots of typical Sicilian food and a whole pig to eat.

After the tasty lunch, we (the Hungarian students) taught the others how to dance the traditional Hungarian folk dance. As a response, the Italians did the same. It was very funny and we had a very good time together.

As soon as the lunch time ended, we had to organize groups and work on the third movie’s script in the topic of society. Our task was to write interview questions, as well. At the end of the day, we said goodbye and returned to our „homes”.
